Apia Argo 69 Sinking Lure 07 (4632)
69mm | Sinking | pencil / stickbait | 07
The Argo 69 is a sinking pencil for distance and subsurface control.
It keeps the slim baitfish profile of a surface pencil, but lets you work below chop or count it down when fish are not fully breaking the surface.
Fish it with sweeps, twitches, and pauses instead of a dead-straight retrieve.
A lift makes it kick or slide, then the pause lets it sink like a weakened baitfish.
That change from movement to drop is what triggers a lot of bites.
The 69mm body gives it strong casting range for shore work.
It is useful on beaches, rock ledges, harbour walls, current seams, and places where bait is being pushed but not always on top.
It is not as snag-safe as a floating pencil.
Count it down carefully around shallow reef and lift the rod before it drops into rocks.
TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, snapper, flathead, and predators that chase baitfish high in the water column.
