Apia Dover 70 SS Sinking Lure 06 (6018)
70mm | Sinking | minnow / shore plug | 06
The Dover 70 SS is a sinking minnow for keeping a baitfish profile slightly deeper and more controlled than a floating plug.
It is useful when wind, current, or wave movement makes a floating lure ride too high, or when fish are sitting just under the surface feed.
The advantage is depth control.
Count it down, start the retrieve, then use steady winding, sharp twitches, and pauses.
The pause is different from a floating lure: it drops back toward the fish, which can trigger followers.
The 70mm body gives it a proper baitfish length for inshore and shore-casting work.
Fish it along beaches, river mouths, rock edges, current seams, and deeper flat edges.
It is not as forgiving over shallow rock as a floater, so keep contact and do not let it sink too long around structure.
Pick it when you need reach, depth, and a lure that stays under the surface.
TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, snapper, flathead, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, small pelagics, and shore-based predators hunting baitfish.
