Duo Metal Jig Drag Metal Slim SLJ 80 grams PPA0510 (4409)

80g | Finish: PPA0510

The Duo Drag Metal Slim SLJ is a light-jigging style metal made for casting or shallow vertical work, giving you a compact baitfish presentation without going too heavy.

The 80g size is useful when you need to cover water but still keep the lure controllable on lighter tackle.

Compared with a wide slow jig, this style responds better to a mixed retrieve.

You can wind it steadily like a fleeing baitfish, snap it upward to make it dart, or let it fall through bait schools where the flash can trigger fish that are sitting underneath.

A good way to fish it is to cast past the target zone, count it down, then use two or three quick rod lifts followed by a pause.

When fish are active, speed it up.

When they are following, make the pause longer and let the jig do more of the work on the fall.

It is not a magic lure for every depth.

If current is heavy or you cannot stay in contact, go heavier; if fish are feeding right on top, a hardbait may stay in the zone longer.

The PPA0510 finish should be chosen by visibility rather than by name alone.

If it looks natural or silver, use it for clear water and baitfish-matching.

If it has pink, chartreuse, glow or heavy flash, save it for low light, surf, stained water or reaction bites.

The lure's action and size matter first; the finish fine-tunes how easily fish can find it.

TARGET SPECIES: snapper, trevally, mackerel, sea bass, flatfish, grouper and other inshore predators feeding around bait.
