The Spearhead Ryuki 50 MDF Floating Lure is a small floating/deep-flat style minnow for working defined lanes in current and shallow-to-mid-depth edges.

Unlike the sinking Ryuki models, the floating behaviour gives you more pause control and a little more safety around shallow structure.

Use it with steady retrieves, twitches, and controlled pauses.

The floating body lets it rise when stopped, which can help avoid bottom contact and also gives following fish a change in movement to attack.

That rise is especially useful around rocks, shallow runs, and small pockets.

It is strongest in streams, small rivers, drains, and clear edges where fish are holding around current but not wanting a fast-sinking bait.

It is not the best choice when you need to punch deep quickly; for that, the sinking Ryuki models are better.

TARGET SPECIES: trout, chub, perch, smallmouth bass, stream bass, light-game predators, and fish holding in current seams or pockets.
