The Spearhead Ryuki 70 MDF Floating Lure is a floating deep-flat Ryuki made for working a defined lane without committing to a sinking lure.
It dives on the retrieve, holds a tight minnow action, then rises when paused, which gives you more control around stones, roots, shallow rock, and broken current.
Retrieve it steadily to get it tracking, then use short twitches and pauses to make the body flash and kick off-line.
The floating rise is useful when the lure is coming close to structure, and it can also trigger fish that follow the bait but do not want to hit during a straight retrieve.
This is a good choice when fish are sitting a little deeper than a true shallow runner can reach, but the water is too snaggy or shallow to confidently fish a sinking minnow.
It is not the one to pick when you need to count down fast into deep pools.
