The Ima Chappy 160 Floating Lure is a floating topwater/high-running bait built for surface presence and drawing power.

It is not a subtle finesse lure; it is for situations where predators are looking up, chasing bait, or willing to attack a larger silhouette.

Use short rod taps, steady wake-style retrieves, and pauses to keep it in the strike zone.

The goal is to make it look like injured bait struggling near the top rather than dragging it back mechanically.

It is strongest around bait schools, reef edges, river mouths, breakwalls, flats, and surface-feeding windows.

If fish are sitting deep or refusing to rise, a sinking minnow, jig, or subsurface lure will be more efficient.

Gold or warmer flash is useful around tannin, cloud cover, low sun, and water with a little colour because it shows up without needing an oversized lure.

TARGET SPECIES: trevally, queenfish, tuna, kingfish, bluefish, sea bass, dorado, bass, and predators willing to hit surface or high-running bait.
