The Honey Trap 70S Sinking Lure is a compact sinking shallow-running minnow/pencil for finesse inshore work.

It is small enough to match modest bait but still has the sink rate needed to hold under surface chop and reach fish that are not fully on top.

Use a steady retrieve as the base, then add brief pauses or rod-tip twitches when it crosses a drain, current seam, rock edge, or visible bait school.

The lure is at its best when it looks like a small baitfish losing speed just below the surface.

It is strongest in estuaries, harbours, canals, shallow rock, and calm surf edges.

If the water is dirty or fish are feeding deeper, a vibration bait, jig, or heavier minnow may find them faster.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, queenfish, snapper, bluefish, bass, and inshore predators feeding around bait, current, and structure.
