The Nabarone 175F Floating Lure is a floating inshore minnow with a fuller baitfish profile, made for fishing the upper water column over shallow structure, surf edges, river mouths, and current lines.
It gives predators a visible target without forcing the lure deep.
Retrieve it steadily first, then add small twitches or brief pauses as it passes a drain, rock edge, colour change, or bait school.
The lure works best when it tracks cleanly through a lane rather than being overworked every metre.
It is strongest when sea bass, flatfish, trevally, or bluefish are feeding on medium bait near the surface or just below it.
Its limitation is depth.
If fish are sitting low or current is pushing bait down, the sinking model or a metal jig will reach them more consistently.
