The Metal Mouse 70 mm 15 grams Floating Lure is a floating topwater crawler/mouse-style bait for slow surface work around cover.
It is not about speed; it is about giving fish an obvious struggling target that stays in the strike zone.
Retrieve it slowly enough for the surface action to work cleanly, then pause around shade, weed holes, timber, and edges.
The slower you can fish it while keeping the action alive, the more time a predator has to commit.
It is strongest at night, early/late light, over shallow cover, and around fish that are willing to look up.
In rough water or when fish are deep, a subsurface lure will usually be more efficient.
