The Metal Jig Cut Backer is a cut-profile casting jig made for flash, fall variation, and shore-casting reach.

In 18g, it gives you a metal lure that can be retrieved quickly but still shows an injured-bait look on the drop.

Use a straight retrieve when fish are active, or add rod lifts and pauses so the jig flashes as it falls.

That change from speed to fall is often what makes mackerel, trevally, flatfish, and sea bass strike.

It is strongest around beaches, rock platforms, harbour mouths, and bait schools.

It is not designed to crawl slowly through heavy bottom; keep it moving and treat the fall as the bite window.

The brighter or glow-accented finish is useful when visibility matters: low light, deeper water, stained water, or when fish need to find the jig quickly during a fast drop.

In clear shallow water, a more natural silver or baitfish finish may look less intrusive.
