Heavy-duty metal jig with a sharp hook and a wide, flat profile for aggressive strikes. The Fakie design has a reverse hook orientation to prevent snags when fishing near cover or structure. Best fished with a slow, steady retrieve or hopped along the bottom to trigger reaction bites. The weight ensures quick sinking and holds position in current or wind. Ideal for targeting bottom-dwelling species in deeper water or near drop-offs. Use with a heavy line to prevent break-offs on strong fighters. The MJ-26 model has a pronounced wobble when retrieved, mimicking injured baitfish. Works well in clear or stained water when paired with a soft plastic trailer or live bait.
