Rapala Flat Rap Slow Floating Lure FLR08/S
FLR08 | Slow Floating
The Rapala Flat Rap is a finesse minnow for a more subtle baitfish presentation than a loud crank or vibration bait.
It suits clear water, pressured fish, and situations where predators follow lures but refuse anything too aggressive.
Fish it with a steady retrieve first, then add small twitches and pauses to make it kick and flash.
The slower-floating or slow-sinking style gives you control around shallow edges, currents, and cover without forcing a deep-diving action.
It is strongest around drains, clear banks, bridge shade, streams, and harbour edges where fish can see the lure properly.
In dirty water or heavy chop, a louder lure may be easier for fish to find.
TARGET SPECIES: trout, perch, bass, sea bass, chub, flatfish, bream, and predators feeding on small to mid-sized baitfish around edges and current.
