The Rapala Tail Dancer Deep is a deep-diving hardbait for reaching fish below the upper layer.
It is useful when predators are sitting on drop-offs, deeper rock, trolling lanes, or under bait where shallow lures pass over their heads.
Retrieve or troll it steadily until it reaches its working depth, then let the body and bill create the hunting action.
It often gets bites when it tracks close to structure, changes angle, or moves through bait rather than swimming in empty mid-water.
It is strongest for deeper edges, trolling passes, open lake work, river mouths, and structure lines.
It is not the first choice for skinny water or topwater feeding fish.
TARGET SPECIES: bass, trout, perch, sea bass, flatfish, chub, pike, and predators feeding around small to mid-sized baitfish.
