The Shiba Metal Jig TG Tungsten is a compact metal jig for distance, depth, and a fast baitfish profile.
Metal gives you a lot of casting weight in a small body, which matters when bait is small, wind is up, or fish are feeding beyond normal plug range.
Fish it fast when pelagics are chasing, or count it down and use lift-and-fall when fish are holding deeper.
The lure often gets eaten when it changes speed, so do not make every retrieve a flat straight wind.
It is strongest from beaches, breakwaters, boats, and deeper lanes where bait is compact and fast-moving.
It is not a slow finesse presentation, so if fish are following without committing, lengthen the fall or change to a softer bait.
The finish leans toward visibility and reaction, which is useful in deeper water, low light, stained water, or when you need the jig/lure to stand out during the fall.
In very clear water with pressured fish, a quieter baitfish finish may be better.
